Nicolas Martin

Nicolas Martin is a realist painter from Paris, France, who now lives and works in Montreal, Canada. After completing his studies at the esteemed Auguste Renoir School in Paris in 1999, he broadened his artistic knowledge and diversified his skills by completing the Graphic Design program at the University of Laval in Quebec.

Martin launched his professional painting career in 2013 with a highly successful solo exhibition at L’œil du Prince Gallery in Paris, followed by an equally successful show there in 2014. In 2015, he made his U.S. debut in Urban Life at Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado, and was selected as a finalist in the prestigious Art Renewal Center Salon. That same year, Southwest Art Magazine recognized him as an “Artist to Watch.”
