Dale Terbush
Dale Terbush was born in Elmhurst, Illinois, and raised in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, where his lifelong passion for art began at an early age. His creativity led to a successful career in design, where he blended artistry with business as head of interior design and later Vice President for a national restaurant company. During that time, he designed more than 300 establishments, and a commissioned mural first brought his painting talents to public attention.
Driven to pursue painting full time, Terbush left the corporate world in the early 1990s and moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he quickly developed a devoted following of collectors. In 1994, he relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, continuing to grow his audience and refine his artistic vision.
Known for his luminous, dreamlike landscapes, Terbush transforms nature into poetic, spiritual experiences through his masterful use of color, light, and imagination. His work has been compared to the romantic traditions of the Hudson River School and the vibrant illumination of Maxfield Parrish. He also shares his creativity through poetry and inspirational writing, offering collectors a deeper connection to his artistic vision.
