Sara Linda Poly
Sara Linda Poly was born in 1945 and resided in Philadelphia until 1977 when she moved to Washington, D.C. During her time in Philadelphia she attended the Philadelphia College of Art and she then furthered her education in Maryland and Virginia. Poly attended the Montgomery College of Art and Design in Takoma Park/Silver Spring, Maryland and Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). She also studied alongside various local and national artists. Poly went on to own a small illustration and design business, and later held the position as the assistant gallery director at the Art League Gallery here in Alexandria, Virginia.
