Gary Weisman is cool, even when he’s pouring bronze at an incredible temperature in his Upstate New York foundry. Born in Chicago, Gary attended the Art Institute of Chicago before moving on to teach at Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. His process is passionate — classical figure drawing, sculpting in clay from a live model, creating molds for casting, and several times a year pouring bronze to create the final product of his labor.
