Jorge Alberto has been selected as one of The Artist's Magazine's 2009 �Artist of the Month�. His work, �The Martyrdom of St. Sebastian�, will appear on the magazine's website, www.artistsnetwork.com, in February 2009. Mr. Alberto has also been selected to paint the portrait of Governor Marin O�Malley, the 47th Mayor of the City of Baltimore. The portrait will hang in the Hyman Pressman Board of Estimates Room at Baltimore City Hall.

Ryan Brown was recently awarded 'Best Painting of the Year -- 2008' by the prestigious Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. The winning painting is titled, 'Portrait of Nester' and measures 30 x 40.
